At the beginning...

Quadrock Services and Solutions Pvt. Ltd. was founded in 2012 by six friends who are also well seasoned travelers across South East Asia. Situated on Sarjapur Road, opposite Kaikondrahalli Lake, in the heart of a populated upper-middle-class neighborhood, the concept was simply to create a cozy environment that was well suited to have great conversations, served with quality freshly cooked food and offer great mocktails, cocktails, beer and spirit selections. After 12 months of fine-tuning, site development, and loads of hard work, we have what you see today. As of December 2012, we have finally brought out our first venture, Aroi, a South East Asian restaurant currently serving over 4,000 customers a month.

The Head Chef: Jacksy Chan

Managing Partner, Director of Operations Jacksy Verghese, also known as Jacksy Chan, is the face of Quadrock Services and Solutions Pvt. Ltd. He serves as the Grand Executive Chef at Aroi in Bangalore. Although a techie by profession for eighteen years, Jacksy Chan gave it all up and moved to his passion of cooking the finest and authentic South East Asian cuisine, and single-handedly brought it to Bangalore. Jacksy Chan was not always a chef. He studied abroad in Malaysia and Brunei, always being a foodie from a very young age, went forward and completed his engineering and Master of Science in the US, worked in the US, came back to India, after 18 years of professional IT experience and followed his love for food. A certified chef from the Phuket Thai Cookery School, Chef Jacksy Chan brings an interesting twist to the cuisine. He aims to use fresh ingredients, sourced from import suppliers and use them in a unique modernist way for you to experience here and single-handedly introduce the aromas of South East Asia to the busy corner of India's IT Hub Bangalore.

Passion, love, family, friends and food are the foundations of life for Jacksy Chan and here at Aroi we are a family that has this passion and love of food and service with words that fall short to describe how passionate he is about the food quality, precision and aroma. Jacksy Chan started this South East Asian cuisine in December 2012 and intends to push his passion forward by starting cookout sessions with corporate IT with two key focus in mind: 1) Team Building while participating in cookout sessions at Aroi By the Farm 2) Having fun and learning a bit about the South East Asian Cuisine along the way!
